The main lobby entrance for the Bangor Arts Exchange is located at 193 Exchange Street in Downtown Bangor. Our main office entrance is located two doors down at 189 Exchange.
Is the Arts Exchange ADA Accessible?
Yes! There is an elevator from the main lobby to all floors, including for access into the Ballroom and 3rd floor Gallery! The space is completely ADA friendly and compliant!
Is there parking?
Exchange Street offers 1-hour parking in most spaces between 9am and 5pm. York Street and French Street do offer 2-hour spaces during business hours. There are several public parking areas in the downtown district and close to BAE, including the Pickering Square Parking Garage.
Street parking is free after 5pm on weekdays, and anytime on weekends.
The First National Bank (on Exchange) also offers parking to BAE patrons in its lot after 5pm.
Yes, we have a full bar and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage options in the Ballroom. The bar and concessions is open for most events.
Is BAE available for rental?

Does BAE have rehearsal spaces?
BAE maintains several rehearsal spaces which are available for hourly rental. Local musicians, improv, theatre and other community groups, are among our frequent renters. If you are looking for rehearsal space contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Does BAE have artist studios?
Their are a limited amount of spaces offered up for monthly rental to studio artists. They are frequently rented, but interested artists should contact us for further info!
