Located in Downtown Bangor at the Historic Nichols Block, The Bangor Arts Exchange is a collaborative project of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and Launchpad. It opened its doors in September of 2017 and is home to its founding partners as well as several other arts organizations and artists. The building, built in 1892, now serves as a performing and visual arts space and includes The Ballroom; a 185 cap performance venue and Bangor’s only mid-size event space, The Nichols Block Gallery, as well as additional meeting, office, studio and rehearsal space.
