JR Specs
Combining backpack rhymes with a seasoned ear for tone and groove, JR SPECS creates vibrant, earnest music about highs and lows. 
 Since his first demo in the seventh grade, 23-year-old JR has created plenty of moments. After gathering a small cult following by word of mouth, JR began to garner attention at UConn through various shows (including a spot opening for ). His fan favorite mixtape , a self-produced tape about a young man’s struggle to hold onto joy, made a splash on campus in 2019.
 After the success of two explosive singles in and , featuring fellow Maine artists and , JR dropped his autobiographical 2020 mixtape , the story of reluctantly leaving a carefree childhood behind.
 In 2021, JR graduated and dropped his , a 3-pack of upbeat jams perfect for college life.
 In 2022, JR is dropping a shit ton of music.
